the bandwidth of an optical system.
These are polished
glass filters using
Schott glasses or equivalent.
Standard filters are circular (12.7
or 25.4mm diameter) or square (50.8 x 50.8 mm) in shape. Thickness usually
between 2 or 3 mm.
A wide range of Schott glass filters are available, including BG-3, BG-7, BG-18, BG-23, BG-25, BG-28, BG-38, BG-39, BG-40, RG-9 and others.
