Broadband Dielectric Mirrors

These dielectric mirrors are excellent high reflectors for broadband use.   They operate over a wide spectral range and provide more than 99% reflectance for 45° angle of incidence.   

Several distinct wavebands are available: 245 – 330 nm, 329 — 420 nm, 450 — 700 nm,  485 – 695 nm, 650 – 1000 nm, 900 – 1300 nm, 1000 — 1400 nm and 1100 – 1600 nm.

Both substrate and coating have an equally important effect on the performance of these mirrors.  Substrate material is usually BK7 optical glass.  Polish, stability and scatter are controlled as well as the precise reflectance characteristic of the multilayer dielectric coating. Broadband mirrors can be produced on flat or curved substrates as required.  Unless otherwise requested we will supply them on λ/8 polished flats with a surface quality of 20/10 or better.

We can supply broadband mirrors in diameters of 10.0, 20.0, 25.4, 38.1 and 50.8 mm.   Custom sizes are available on request.
