Broadband Dielectric UV Mirrors

These dielectric mirrors are excellent high reflectors for broadband ultra-violet use.   They operate over a wide spectral range and provide more than 99% reflectance for angles of incidence from 0° to 45°.  Manufactured to laser quality standards, these mirrors are useful for broadband and multi-spectral applications in the ultra-violet.

Two separate wavebands are available:

·            245 – 330 nm centred at 280 nm

·            320 — 450 nm centred at 430 nm

Both substrate and coating have an equally important effect on the performance of these mirrors.  The substrate material is UV Fused Silica.  Polish, stability and scatter are controlled as well as the precise reflectance characteristic of the multilayer dielectric coating.   These mirrors are made on λ/10 polished flats with a surface quality of 10/5 or better.

 We can supply broadband UV mirrors in diameters of 10.0, 12.7, 19.1, 20.0, 25.4, 30.0, 38.1 or 50.8 mm.
