Plano-concave Cylindrical Lenses for the Infra-red

These negative cylindrical plano-convex lenses are used for uni-axial imaging  divergence.  They are available in low absorption, CVD grown Zinc Selenide, or single crystal Germanium.   A range of focal lengths and sizes are offered.   Focal lengths range from –8.3 to -710 mm (0.33” to 28”).

They are square in shape. Typical sizes are: 25.4 mm square and  50.8 mm square. ( 1” and 2”) Thickness varies from 3.0 to 7.4 mm as appropriate to suit the individual mounting requirements. 

 Lenses are normally supplied uncoated but a range of anti-reflection coatings are available including one for low reflectance at 10.6μm.
