Plano-concave
lenses are commonly used diverging lenses.
They are available in low absorption, CVD grown Zinc Selenide, or single
crystal Germanium.
A range of focal lengths and diameters are offered.
Standard radii of curvature offered are 25,50,75,100,150,200,250,300,400,500,750
and 1000 mm, providing focal lengths in the range –17 to –700 mm.
Typical diameters offered are 12.7 and 25.4 mm. (1/2” and 1”)
Edge thickness varies from 2.5 to 6.0 mm as appropriate.
Lenses
are normally supplied uncoated but a range of anti-reflection coatings are
available including one for low reflectance at 10.6μm.
