Non-Polarising UV Beamsplitters
The
natural tendency of optical surfaces to reflect s– and p- polarisations with
different efficiencies can be a serious problem when working with lasers as the
state of polarisation can change as it passes through the optical system.
These
high power non-polarising plate beamsplitters eliminate the problem due to a
special coating, which provides 50:50 transmission/reflection for all
polarisations. Such coatings only
work for one wavelength and angle of incidence, normally 45°.
Other
split ratios are available on request.
Wavelengths
offered are 248, 266, 355 nm. Usual diameters are 25.4 and 50.8 mm but
other sizes can be supplied.
