UV Bandpass Filters
These
bandpass filters are designed to isolate
the UVA, UVB and UVC spectral regions. They
are used with UV spectral lamps to simulate these specific ultra-violet regions
of the sun and to block other wavelengths. UVA
(blacklight) occurs in the wavelength range 315-400nm, just below the visible
spectrum. UVB (medium wave UV)
occurs from 280-315nm and UVC (Short wave or Germicidal UV) occurs at
wavelengths below 280nm.
These filters have the following specifications:
UVA — CWL 360nm FWHM 60nm
UVB — CWL 300nm FWHM 30nm
UVC — CWL 250nm FWHM 30nm
They are mounted in a metal cell and sizes are 25.0 and 50.0 mm outside diameter x 6.2 to 6.7 mm thick
